COUNT DOWN TO RAFFLE

September is here and the count down to the house raffle is on!
Alot has happened since the last update, summer children's camps have come and gone (they are the whole reason we are trying to raise money), and the house has been completed and is now on display in Belize City. Currently it is sitting along the Western Highway at 4.5 Miles and will be moved into the city center by the end of next week for display.

Ticket sale are going slow, and time is running out! So be sure to get your tickets today:

Supporting a family in need

We have put together a list of 10 families from different areas of Belize, who really need a home. When you go to buy a tickets you have the option of either writing a ticket out in your name or for someone else who needs a home. Of coarse we cannot and will not manipulate who will wins the house, but we can put the odds in the favor of a needy family. 

Take a look below at some of the families we work with, whom we know will benefit from a new home. Would you consider buying a ticket on behalf of one of these families as you also buy one for yourself?

Work Continues!

March 19th
The Belize City Boys picked to assist in the Build it 4 Kids Project headed out to Spanish Lookout to do what they could to assist in the project. While they were not able to help directly with the construction of the house they did do their part in making sure the yard was kept clean for the men to work.

 Workers from Harvey Plett Home Builders continue construction. So far the foundation and two walls have been completed.

It has Begun!

Thursday March 3rd, work began on the "Build it 4 Kids" Raffle House, in Spanish Lookout. In one day of work the base of the floor was constructed. Thank-you to our friends visiting from Canada who helped get this thing off the ground - literally.

This weekend construction will continue and some of the Belize City boys who have been chosen to help will be on site to assist. For more information on how you can get involved with the labor or of donating money or materials contact Alexander Perez @ 671-0021.

Build it 4 Kids

As “Belize Camping Experience” we have developed this fund raising project in an effort to subsidize the cost of camps, children programs and youth leadership trainings that we support.

In choosing this method of fund-raising we see the potential for those who believe in what we do, to have a variety of ways to give of their resources and time. It also gives those of the community the opportunity to receive something back for supporting the cause – a house!

Please consider how you may be of assistance.
